Hazelwood is a female-fronted, folk rock quintet that sometimes strays into 60s soul and country. Formed in Raleigh, NC thru friendship, their sound has been compared to The Jayhawks, The Band, and the Old 97s. Since releasing a self-titled EP in 2013, they have been writing/recording for a fall 2014 debut album. Hazelwood has performed multiple venues in Raleigh, incld. SPARKcon and Artsplosure.
